Term 4 has started quickly with lots of opportunities for students to apply for apprenticeships/ traineeships and/or furthering their education through TasTAFE in 2020.
Students at Claremont College have been given the opportunity to apply for a range of traineeships with Tas Water. The traineeships are 3 years in duration and those successful applicants will complete a nationally recognised Certificate III in Water Operations qualification.
Another great opportunity is for a mechanical fitter apprenticeship with Cascade Brewery. More information can be found in the Careers Centre or on the MEGT website.
TasTAFE will be holding their information sessions for up and coming 2020 courses so students should now be expressing an interest in a chosen course if they want to be considered for selection. Course information sessions will be across all of TasTAFE’s campuses in late November this year.
If students are interested in any of the positions mentioned above, want to explore more about what TasTAFE has to offer or are unsure about their options for 2020, they should come into the Careers Centre and see Paul for more information.
